The Everyday Design Studio (EDS) at Simon Fraser University is a design research studio focused on exploring interaction design. Their research investigates the changing nature of interaction design in response to the increasing role technology plays in mediating everyday behaviours.
As a Research Assistant at EDS I worked on speculative design research. Speculative design is a design method that addresses large societal challenges looking towards the future by creating products and services for these scenarios. The project I worked on was published and presented at the 2019 DIS conference. You can find our research article here.
