dutchDesign
dutchDesign is a competitive research program that is held bi-annually. Where 12 senior design students are selected to travel across Northern Europe in order to learn from and document several talented creatives. The interviews and research from this study are distilled into a site, showcasing our learnings about design, innovation and culture within the Netherlands.
Given the history and reputation of the field school program, we wanted to create a site that would put the content first, but add novel and unique interactions that would add moments of delight to the user. By using brutalist frameworks, we let the content take centre stage, and address both professional and student audiences. As part of our group I was on the user experience team, working on production and interactions.
